The last of the bouquet. (An original miniature from my “Flower Miniatures” series)

In this piece, I set out to capture the quiet drama of a solitary tulip left after a bouquet has faded. By layering markers and colored pencils, I highlighted the gentle curve of each petal and the deep, shifting tones that suggest a flower on the cusp of change.

The nuanced interplay of reds and purples adds a sense of both elegance and poignancy. The artwork is presented in a neutral MDF frame with glass and a mat, complementing modern and traditional interiors alike. As part of the “Flower Miniatures” series, “The Last of the Bouquet” can be displayed on its own or grouped with other pieces for a captivating gallery-style arrangement. With basic care—avoiding direct sunlight and humidity—it will continue to share its subtle, evocative beauty for years to come.
