March Tulips. (An original miniature from my “Flower Miniatures” series)

In this piece, I wanted to capture the spirited energy of tulips that herald the arrival of spring. By layering markers and colored pencils, the petals display subtle gradients of red and pink, while the elongated leaves add a sense of movement and depth. The resulting composition exudes a lively charm, reflecting the promise of warmer days and blooming gardens.

The MDF frame with glass and a complementary mat helps to protect and highlight the artwork’s vibrant palette. As part of the “Flower Miniatures” series, “March Tulips” can be displayed solo to draw focus or combined with other pieces to create a cohesive floral collection. With basic care—keeping it away from direct sunlight and high humidity—this piece will maintain its vibrant character for years to come.
