The hazelnuts are ripening. (An original miniature from my “Flower Miniatures” series)

In this piece, I focused on the subtle interplay of greens and reddish-browns as hazelnuts begin to mature. Each leaf and nut is gently rendered with markers and colored pencils, highlighting the textured surface and warm hues. The composition celebrates the quiet anticipation of seasonal change and the overlooked beauty of ripening hazelnuts.
