Roses in a faceted glass. (An original miniature from my “Flower Miniatures” series)

I set out to convey the timeless elegance of roses set against the clean geometry of a traditional faceted glass. By focusing on subtle tonal transitions in black and white, the composition highlights each petal’s form and the gentle shift of light across the glass surface.

The monochromatic palette draws attention to the organic contours of the blooms, contrasting beautifully with the crisp lines of the faceted glass. Presented in a neutral MDF frame under glass with a mat, “Roses in a Faceted Glass” blends seamlessly into both modern and classic interiors. With minimal care—shielding it from direct sunlight and high humidity—this piece will maintain its quiet sophistication for years to come.
