A person asleep beneath blossoming trees became the starting point for this work. What moved me was the quiet sense of trust it expressed—the ability to surrender to sleep in the openness of the world. Through transparent layers of watercolor, the landscape and the resting figure gradually merge into a single atmosphere of light and stillness, where nature becomes a space of quiet refuge.
