When I painted “Quiet Life”, my goal was not just to depict a landscape, but to convey its inner state — something that can’t be captured at a glance. It’s not a view from a specific place, but rather an emotional experience of space, where everything is filled with silence, soft light, and calm. I chose tempera on hardboard to preserve the unique, velvety depth of color. Shades of turquoise, ochre, lilac-gray tones, and warm terracotta create a rhythm that invites you to linger. This landscape carries no noise — only the breath of earth and light, the sensation of a moment suspended in time. The 65×50 cm format focuses attention on what matters most — the balance of forms and the mood they create. With “Quiet Life”, I wanted to offer a space for contemplation, a visual pause where one can rest, restore inner stillness, and feel connected to something enduring and real.
